Tazio Secchiaroli
Born in Rome in 1925, Tazio is a milestone in the history of Italian photojournalism.
He started taking photos of actors and VIPs who went around the legendary Via Veneto in Rome in the 50s. Thus he came to meet Federico Fellini who gave him the name of “paparazzo” and started a long relationship with him. The film “La Dolce Vita” is full of anecdotes from Tazio’s life.
In 1964 Tazio enters the circle of Sophia Loren becoming her personal photographer, following her on most of her international film sets.
He works until the beginning of the 80s and makes a huge collection of beautiful photos. All of them are available for editorial purpose on www.photomovie.net.
